The Kano State Executive Council has approved and amended the proposed bill on Child Rights (protection) Act 2010 to reflect the position of Sharia on all sections of the Child Rights Act (CRA) 2003. To this end, 1,650 women were screened in 2016, 2056 women in 2017, 2508 in 2018, 2189 in 2019, and 998 in 2020.
