The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and heads of various tertiary institutions in the country have agreed to conclude all 2020/2021 admissions by June 15. The board made the disclosure in a statement signed by its Head of Media and Publicity, Dr Fabian Benjamin on Sunday. It said that public universities would conclude admissions a month  before private universities, polytechnics and colleges of education. The management of the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, KSUSTA Aliero, has announced the  indefinite closure of the institution over the death of 22 -year-old final year Biochemistry student. Alhaji Musa Labbo, the Registrar of the university, announced the closure in a statement made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday. “This is to inform all students of the university that the management has directed the closure of the school indefinitely. “Therefore, all students are hereby directed to leave the university with immediate effect”, the statement said. Zamfara police command, has denied media reports that the abducted students of Government Science Secondary School Jangebe, have been released. The deniel is contained in a statement by the spokesperson of the command, SP Muhammad Shehu on Sunday. Zamfara governor, Bello Muhammad has assured that the abducted students of Government Science Secondary School, Jangebe, would be released soon.
