Following the disturbing sit-at-home order implemented by Simon Ekpa, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has written to Ekpa ordering the immediate stoppage of the order. Kanu is being detained by the Department of State Services (DSS), and the Mondays Sit-At-Home orders are aimed at forcing the Federal government to release him. The IPOB leader stressed that he embarked on the movement only to liberate the Igbo people and not to enslave them, but and inflicting unnecessary hardship on the Igbo people.
