ASHENEWS reports that Nigeria’s former military president, Abdulsalami Abubakar, and Sultan Muhammadu Saad Abubakar, have again visited Niamey, capital of Niger Republic.

This online platform further reports that the visit is in their continued struggle to avert military intervention by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) in Niger Republic, as well as provide a possible diplomatic solution to the crisis in that country.

The duo were received at the airport by the Prime Minister of Niger, Lamine Zeine.

Although ASHENEWS could not immediately provide details of their Visit, we however connect that it might not be unconnected with the development in that country.
