Nigeria’s vice president and one of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential aspirants, Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday, visited the Abuja residence of Sokoto political godfather, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko Tuesday evening.
According to a source, Osinbajo and Wamakko met for hours discussing the former’s presidential ambition.
The source who postulated Wamakko as Northern Nigeria’s political godfather said, “Wamakko has also been the Northwest Coordinator of Buhari for President since 2015 and has been at the centre of the 2023 political calculations in the country, as an influencer with millions of supporters and admirers.
“He is respected by all politicians a cross the country and undoubtedly Northern Nigeria’s emerging political godfather.”
