The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Friday night reported 160 new cases of COVID-19.
The total number of infections now stands at 53,477.
The Centre through its Twitter handle @NCDCGov, said Plateau recorded 44 cases, while Lagos followed with 27 cases.

The NCDC further stated that a total of 41,017, have been discharged with 1,011 recorded as deaths.
