Twelve days after President Muhammadu Buhari assured Nigerians that Jangebe students abduction would be the last in the country, gunmen on Wednesday, dared the president and abducted two students and teacher at the National Institute of Construction Technology, Uromi in Esan North-East local government area of Edo state.
The spokesperson of Edo State Police Command, SP Bello Kontongs confirmed the incident saying gunmen abducted three persons.
“Yes, it is true, there was a kidnap incident here.
“Three persons were kidnapped, one is a staff while the other two are students of the Institute.
“Right now, the Police are on the trail of the kidnappers, we will make sure that the three persons held captives by the gunmen are rescued,” Kontongs said.
