Sector Commander Andre Longkam told reporters in Kaduna that the crash occurred around 1:45 p.m. at the Federal Eye Centre Junction, involving a DAF truck, a Honda vehicle, and a motorcycle.

“Two persons lost their lives in the crash,” Longkam said.
He added that some irate youths set the involved vehicles on fire, causing additional damage.
FRSC personnel, in collaboration with the Police, promptly moved to the scene to manage traffic and restore normalcy. Measures were put in place to ensure free flow of traffic and prevent further incidents.
Longkam urged motorists to exercise caution, particularly on roads under construction, and advised drivers to obey traffic regulations to avoid worsening emergency situations.
He confirmed that investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing and reiterated the command’s commitment to road safety.
