The Federal government has completed over 30 infrastructural projects across the three senatorial districts of Kwara state between Jan 2019 till date.
Arc Ibrahim Bala-Usman of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, disclosed this during a verification and sensitisation tour of the projects in Ilorin.
The projects include health centres, blocks of classrooms, solar power, boreholes, roads, among others.
According to him, the Federal government embarked in all the intervention projects to improve the living condition of the people of the state.
He expressed satisfaction with the way some communities were maintaining the projects, especially the blocks of classrooms, solar power and water projects.
Bala-Usman assured the communities in of the provision of more project and advised them to guard the projects against vandalism and theft.
The Loma of Babanloma, Oba Mohammed Usman-Ayilara expressed his gratitude to the Federal government for the provision of a comprehensive health centre and block of classrooms in the community.
He solicited for the provision of medical personnel and hospital equipment to the health centre to further improve the well-being of the residents of the community.
The Etsu Tsaragi, Alhaji Aliyu Mohammed-Kpotwa similarly expressed his appreciation for the provision of two 500 KVA transformers in the community.
The Principal of Community Secondary School, Babanloma Mustapha and his counterpart of Government Secondary Sccchool, llorin thanked the Federal government for provision of blocks of classrooms and solar energy.
Some of the projects inspected by the Team included blocks of classrooms at Babanloma Community secondary schools, in Kwara South Senatorial District; two 500 KVA transformers in Tsaragi in the Kwara North Senatorial District and blocks of classrooms and solar power at GSS, llorin in the Kwara central.
Other projects are construction of Bishop Smith Memorial College, Demonstration School, Ilorin, construction of three upstairs, one block of three classrooms, one block of two classrooms, one solar powered borehole at the llorin East LGEA School.
