….Thank you for ending well in service to humanity

By Tom Garba

Instinct, conscience, and morals have asked me to search for a good Man who can be trusted at all times and be a faithful, loyal, and honest steward that has a touch of credibility.  I searched all through, and I have found one in existence.  I found this silent achiever in the history of Nigeria, a country with seemingly good leaders in the anals of leadership.

Boss Mustapha Gidahyel, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) was the Man I found to be a perfect example of a good leader. The formation of APC from other political parties and merging as a party in 2014 was the time Mustapha became the egg York of the party system and remain so to date.

Boss’ first appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari was given the Director General of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) office. He held this position for about two years, in the first term of President Muhammadu Buhari.

In his second year in office, destiny beckoned on him when there was an opening of who will be the next SGF to replace Engr Babachir David Lawal. Boss was tipped and today is history the ever-tall and standing man ended well his tenure with his Boss, President Muhammadu Buhari.

I have found Boss a plaudits politician who had steady steps and straddled

Passing through the heated crucible

And excruciating journey if I can recall his records since 1992. Yet he can be said of him as one Nigeria that is reliable at all times.

In his Journey with President Muhammadu Buhari as SGF he was Stand Upper and brevity by giving the best. A confident Buhari reposed him and gave him many committees of national interest to handle. Home and away, any time any moment, Boss has proven he is a mettle and maestro of giving good results in any assignment he was given by the president.

Sir, you have raced to the clear finish line

In the labyrinth of unsteady political miasma without a doubt. You are a good Man, a dependable Man who cannot chicken out for whatever reason against your Boss. To us your supporters it is a thumbs up because you have all made us proud by racing to the finish line untarnished.

You are an avid follower of Buhari’s leadership principles. Yes, you redoubled the confidence he reposed on you, you recreated a new version of the sincerity you are known for, you laced the office of SGF with another model of hard work you being testified of and nobody will ever question your loyalty to Buhari, your Master.

To me Sir, you are a good runner. You successfully ran to the finishing line of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration and I have found this Bible passage as a description of your loyalty to the past administration:

“You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for you a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give you at that day — 2 Timothy 4:8

I’m one of your  ardent loyalists, over the years I saw how you persevered through a renewed Faith  in Buhari’s regime of All Progressives Congress and continued facing daunting and wanton challenges riding on administrative crooked roads

Sir, show yourself to be a good steward whose stewardship is tasted and trusted in touching the line of a successful government. You served with an uttermost display of Sincerity, and honesty, hardworking, and in a more refined way, you approached the duties of the SGF office on a clean slide.

You did all these with dexterity handling the clerical affairs of the nation. You gave Nigerians greater hope that the nation is capable of producing good leaders whose mission is for the total and corporate good of all people. Your service to the nation reminds and give assurance to the young generation that they still have leaders with selfless agenda who are not working within the claws of nepotism to enrich themselves and their generation.

I Thank you former  President Buhari for your insight and foresight and wisdom to decide on the SGF’s office to a Man in Boss. An office that many interest groups and individuals wanted otherwise because of the large opportunities attached to it, the decision you have taken in favor of Boss is indeed commendable and applauded you as a good leader of all times. Mr former President Sir, I can’t thank you enough for this.

Thank you Mr Boss Mustapha for making us proud by serving you our dear nation. Thank you Sir for allowing me to closely work with you as one of your media supporters you so much.

You built in my threads and marks of good leadership. They remain scars of impaction and transformation of the Man-God desires him to be.

Congratulations on a good race you ran in the interest of our dear nation.  Thank you once again for just doing that for all. Handing over an SGF office that is structured with a revamped system of the Federal Government.
