ASHENEWS reports that supporters of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina State have pledged to deliver two million votes for Atiku Abubakar from young people in the state.
The Special Assistant to the Presidential Candidate on Youth and Strategy, Malam Ahmed Adamu stated this yesterday in Katsina when he led a procession tagged “Katsina State March for Atiku”.
Adamu said that young people in Katsina were rallying support for Atiku because he has distinguished himself as a business-savvy individual, who will promote the interest of young people.
According to him, young people are yearning for change and have chosen to support Atiku to lead the process.
“In Katsina State, we are mobilizing about 80 percent votes for Abubakar and I assure you he’s going to get millions of votes in the state,” Adamu said.
“This is a clear demonstration of support from the young people in the state for the presidential candidate and we would deliver millions of votes to him.
“Our unwavering and unconditional support for Atiku Abubakar is an indication that Nigerians, especially the youth, are yearning for change and we are desperate for the change.
“This election is the most important one for the young people, that’s why you can see most people here are women and youths because it’s all about their future,” he said.
