Sokoto state governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has called on support groups of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to embark on door-to-door campaigns for the success of its candidates at  all levels.

He made the call during the inauguration of Ubandoma Volunteers Forum in Sokoto on Saturday.

Represented by the Speaker of Sokoto State House of Assembly, Aminu Muhammad Achida, Tambuwal assured that PDP will rescue Nigerians out of poverty, insecurity and economic challenges brought by the APC-led administration.

He called on Nigerians to vote APC out of office, because according to him, it has failed Nigerians in every sector.

Tambuwal further assured all PDP support groups of the party’s support and cooperation during and after the 2023 General Elections..

The Sokoto State PDP Chairman, Bello Aliyu Goronyo appreciated the efforts of all support groups in canvassing support for the party at the state, local governments, wards and polling units levels.

The Chairman, who was represented by PDP zonal Vice Chairman, Sokoto South, Sule Magaji AP said  PDP is the party to vote considering the hardship faced by Nigerians as a result of APC-led government failure at all levels.

The guest speaker at the occasion and member of the House of Representatives, Abdullahi Balarabe Salame called on the people to vote for credible and competent candidates who have Sokoto state at heart and who are ready to rescue Nigeria out of the challenges caused by the APC.

The Sokoto state PDP gubernatorial candidate, Sa’idu Umar assured of providing good leadership and bring more development to Sokoto state.

Earlier in a welcome address, the State Chairman of Ubandoma Volunteers Forum, Bala Musa Yabo explained that the Forum was formed to canvass votes for all PDP candidates and assured that it will embark on house-to-house campaigns for the success of PDP candidates at all levels.
