Bauchi state government has approved immediate employment of 252 pre-service medical students into the state service.
This is contained in a statement by the information officer, office of the Head of Civil Service, Saudi Umar on Thursday.
According to the statement, the state governor, Bala Mohammed approved the engagement of 252 Pre-Service Medical Students, noting that “the present administration is determined to provide employment opportunities to the teeming youth as well improve healthcare delivery from the grassroots level.
The Head of Civil Service said his office has concluded arrangements to ensure necessary documentation of the medical students for immediate issuance of their appointment letters as directed by the governor.
It could be recalled that the state governor earlier approved the engagement of 1,061 Pre-Service Medical Students into the state main service, in addition to the employment of another 116 Community Midwives to provide Health Care Services to the people of the state.
