Some of Nigeria’s most influential figures and thought leaders have pledged their participation in the headline panel discussion on social enterprise and national development at the Megastar Man of the Decade Awards 2024, positioning this ceremony as a momentous event in the country’s awards history.

The star-studded event, scheduled for December 1, 2024, at the prestigious Wells Carlton Hotel and Apartments in Abuja, will feature a high-level panel discussion themed “Social Enterprise: A Catalyst for Development in Nigeria.” This session brings together an impressive array of thought leaders, policymakers, and industry experts.

Some distinguished confirmed panellists include Senator Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, representing Edo North; Senator Prince Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North, and Chief Dele Momodu, veteran journalist and publisher of Ovation Magazine.

Other confirmed panellists include Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, the Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice of Nasarawa State, and Sijibomi Ogundele, the innovative real estate developer and CEO of Sujimoto Construction.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Adeniyi Ifetayo, Executive Producer of the Megastar Man of the Decade Awards, noted that talks are ongoing with more influential figures who will contribute immensely to the discussion of the day. Thus, the ceremony will linger for a long time in the minds of the people and, most importantly, spark a consciousness in the minds of attendees.

Ifetayo also expressed his enthusiasm about the calibre of confirmed participants. “We are witnessing an unprecedented gathering of Nigeria’s finest minds coming together to discuss crucial aspects of our national development,” Ifetayo stated.

“More distinguished personalities are being confirmed as panellists, and we will make these announcements in the coming days. I can assure you that this event will not only meet but exceed expectations regarding quality discourse and impactful outcomes.”

The panel discussion is expected to explore innovative approaches to leveraging social enterprise for sustainable development in Nigeria, drawing from the diverse experiences and expertise of the panellists across public service, business, media, and law.
