The Kano state governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf has made first appointments into his new administration.
This is contained in a statement by the spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa made available to newsmen on Tuesday.
Those appointed are Shehu Wada Sagagi, Chief of Staff; Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, Secretary to the State Government; Farouq Kurawa, Principal Private Secretary; Abdullahi Ibrahim Rogo, Chief Protocol and Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Chief Press Secretary.
Dawakin Tofa said the appointments take effect from Monday 29th May, 2023.
