The newly sworn Kano state governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has sacked the Executive Secretary of the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Muhammad Abba Danbatta.
Also sacked is the chairman of the board Sheikh Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan.
Yusuf, in a statement signed his spokesperson Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, and made available to newsmen Tuesday morning, also appointed Laminu Rabiu as the new Executive Secretary of the pilgrims board.
The governor appointed Yusuf Lawan to replace Pakistan.
New board members were also appointed to include Sheikh Abbas Abubakar Daneji, Sheikh Shehi Shehi Maihula, Amb. Munir Lawan, Sheikh Isma’il Mangu, Aishatu Munir Matawalle, and Dr. Sani Ashir.
