The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that Mr Ahmad El-Marzuq and not Daniel Bwala is the party’s National Legal Adviser.
Media reports have quoted Daniel Bwala as resigning as the APC’s National Legal Adviser.
However, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka in a statement on Monday, described reports as false and misleading, adding that Bwala was never the Legal Adviser of the party.
“Barr. Ahmad Usman El-Marzuq is, and remains the National Legal Adviser of APC. Barr. Daniel Bwala was not the National Legal Adviser of the party as erroneously reported,” he said.
He added that the report was either borne out of mischief or extreme negligence and should therefore be disregarded by the general public.
