ASHENEWS reports that the Council Chairman of Shiroro local government, Akilu Isyaku Kuta has called on the new Director of Administration, Bala Ahmed Rufai, who was posted to Munya local government in Niger state, to be good ambassador of the local government.
A statement by the Information Officer of the local government, Abubakar Abdallah el-Kurebe, said the Chairman made the call on Wednesday, at a sent forth and Award of Honour ceremonies organised by the Admin Forum of the local government.
Akilu, who was represented by the Council Secretary, Sanusi Sa’idu Busa, charged Rufai to keep up with the good legacy he has built, and continue to be productive in his new area of primary assignment.
Also speaking, the Director of Administration for Shiroro Local Government, Zakari Umar commended the former Staff Officer for his performances as the 6th dedicated officer who served under him, and now promoted to Director Administration.
He charged the entire Local Government Staff to be fair while discharging their assigned responsibilities.
The Staff Officer of Shiroro Local Government, Mrs. Dorcas Talatu Barde who also charged Rufai to continue to work judiciously, described him as great man worthy of emulation and looked up to him of great importance.
Responding in tears of joy, Rufai thanked the Admin Forum and the entire staff of the local government, for making the event a success.
He added that the secret behind this milestone is loyalty, dedication, perseverance, and the love/prayers from his loved ones.
The Head of Admin, Yahaya Saleh Kuta, in his vote of thanks appreciated everyone who graced the occasion.
