Auto crash claims 12 lives of PDP supporters in Zamfara

An auto crash, involving four vehicles, has claimed 12 lives of supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Zamfara.
The Spokesperson of the PDP, Faruku Shattima, who confirmed the accident, said the auto crash occurred around 06pm on Wednesday along Tsafe-Gusau road.
According to him, the victims were “part of our members who went to welcome Governor Bello Matawalle who was returning to the state from Abuja after some days of official engagement.
“The victims were trying to catch up with the governor’s convoy when their vehicle collided with a trailer belonging to Dangote and “they died instantly.
He added that they were buried at 10am on Thursday.
