The technical adviser of Wikki Tourist club, Bauchi, Usman Shariff has resigned.
In a letter dated 17/5/2021 and addressed to the chairman of the Club and presented to newsmen by the Media officer of the team Nasiru Kobi on Tuesday, Sharif said he was happy to have worked with the team.
Although he did not give reason for his resignation, ASHENEWS gathered that the poor performance of wikki Tourists in the NPFL, forced his resignation.
On Monday, the chairman of the team, Balarabe Douglas addressed newsmen where he expressed displeasure on the team’s two poor outings against Katsina United and Nasarawa United.
He threatened to place the players and technical crew on half salaries if they failed to win their next match against Plateau United of Jos.
