The Nigeria Governors Forum has proposed a new national minimum wage of ₦100,000 amid rising food prices, inflation, and the worsening cost of living across the country. The position was made known by the NGF Chairman and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who said the governors recognise the need to improve workers’ welfare given current economic realities. According to him, state governments are already engaging with the Federal Government and labour unions to reach a wage agreement that is fair to workers and sustainable for government finances. The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has dismissed reports claiming that a court order halted environmental services and food safety enforcement in the territory. The FCTA Public Health Department, through its Legal Officer at the Health and Human Services Secretariat (HHSS), Barr. At least 13 people were killed after a minibus crashed into a truck on a highway in central China, traffic police said on Thursday.
