The Shebah Exploration and Production Company Ltd (SEPCOL) has said that the fire which engulfed its offshore Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility has burnt out completely. The Chief Executive Officer, SEPCOL (In receivership), Ikemefuna Okafor confirmed the development in a statement on Saturday in Lagos. The Trinity Spirit FPSO located at at Ukpokiti field (OML 108) in Delta had exploded in the early hours of Wednesday. Nigerian government says the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) had tracked 2,000 projects worth over N300 billion, between 2019 and 2021, through its Constituency and Executive Projects Tracking Initiative. The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed disclosed this, in Abuja, while briefing the media on the giant strides of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s Administration in the anti-corruption fight.
