The CBN will stop the sale of foreign exchange to commercial banks before the end of the year, its governor, Godwin Emefiele said in Abuja on Friday. Nigeria’s Supreme Court on Friday, declared the Executive Order 10 (EO10) issued by President Muhammadu Buhari on the funding of state judiciary and legislature as unlawful and unconstitutional. The apex court in a split decision outweighed by six of the court’s seven-member panel, said the president exceeded his constitutional powers in issuing the Executive Order 10. The decision therefore voided and set aside the EO10.
