The Edo state Police Command says it has arrested some students in connection with an attack on teachers at Idogbo Secondary School in Ikpoba-Okha local government area of the state. The spokesperson, SP Bello Katongs who confirmed the arrest on Tuesday in Benin, said that some of the arrested students had been arraigned in court. Students of the school on Friday went on rampage, destroying cars and other facilities in the school. A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, refused to vacate its order restraining the federal government from deducting monies accruing to the 36 states from federation account to settle 418 million dollars judgment debt in relation to Paris Club Refund.
