Chinese oil imports from Russia surged in May as Moscow sought new customers amid Western sanctions on many of its products because of its ongoing invasion of Ukraine. According to Chinese customs data on Monday, Russian oil imports increased 55 per cent year-on-year in May, to about 8.4 million tonneau. Research has discovered that people with type 2 diabetes could be helped to lose weight while they sleep, with a new method of treatment being explored by scientists. Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (KADSUBEB), has sacked the Kaduna state chairman of Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Ibrahim Dalhatu and N2,357 other teachers. The Public Relations Officer of the Board, Hauwa Mohammed in a statement on Sunday said the sack was based on poor performance in the competence test conducted for over 30,000 teachers in December 2021.
