Operatives of the Sokoto command of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a suspected drugs dealer and village head of Ruga in Shagari local government, Umar Mohammed. The commander, Adamu Iro who briefed newsmen on Tuesday, said the suspect was arrested following intelligence-driven investigation by the command. As the National Communications Commission (NCC) sets aside the official date for the authorization for the rollout of the Fifth-Generation (5G) Internet connectivity service, Nigeria’s leading telecommunications service provider, MTN on Wednesday, switched on its service at 190 sites. A team of Kenyan lawyers has filed a case against the British government at the European Court of Human Rights seeking compensation for historical injustices committed during the colonial period.
