The Electoral Forum, a Civil Society Organisation (CSO), has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to compel political parties to present regular audit reports of their accounts, in line with the provisions of the law. Nigeria and French Development Agency(AFD) on Wednesday signed a grant of €25 million for the Northern Corridor Project to boost power supply in the country. The Northern Corridor Project is jointly funded by the European Union and AFD, while it is being implemented by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN). The Debt Management Office (DMO), has reviewed its bonds issuance calendar for third quarter of 2022. According to the revised calendar, the DMO is scheduled to raise about N720 billion through some re-opened Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) bonds. On July 19, the office was scheduled to re-open a March 2025 FGN bond valued at between N70 billion to N80 billion, and at interest rate of 13.53 per cent per annum.
