A Family Court sitting at Iyaganku, Ibadan on Thursday, remanded a 31-year-old commercial motorcyclist, Michael Ayanlowo, at Abolongo Correctional Facility for allegedly defiling a 15- year-old girl. The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Patricia Adetuyibi, who did not take the plea of Ayanlowo, ordered that the case file should be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice. A Federal High Court, Abuja, on Thursday, ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to accept and publish Godswill Akpabio’s name as the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the 2023 Akwa Ibom North/West Senatorial District election.
