U.S. biotechnology company, Novavax has applied to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Emergency Use Authorisation (EUA) of its protein-based COVID-19 shot as a booster for adults. The vaccine is designed to prevent COVID-19 caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome SARS-CoV-2 as a homologous and heterologous booster in adults aged 18 and older, the company said on Monday. The jets of Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Friday, stroke Kurebe village in Shiroro local government area of Niger state, killing eight persons, including a seven year old. A source from the village told ASHENEWS that jets flew over the village at 3.30pm and dropped one bomb inside the village and another near Kurebe primary school.
