Jigawa state government has confirmed that flood has killed 50 persons and displaced several communities in the state. The Executive Secretary, State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Sani Yusuf who spoke with newsmen on Saturday, said the flood destroyed thousands of homes in the state. He said that the situation forced Jigawa residents to be accommodated by the state government in 11 temporary camps.
