2023: Why Tinubu will record landslide victory – APC Diaspora

The Diaspora Directorate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) says the party will record landslide victory in the 2023 poll, because it has massive support from Nigerians.

Mr Ade Omole, Director, Diaspora Directorate, APC Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) said this when he spoke on Sunday in Abuja.

Omole said that the massive support being enjoyed by the party was a pointer to its victory in the 2023 general election.

He said that the presidential candidate of the party Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has track records of unprecedented accomplishments during his days as Lagos State governor to show for his bid to succeed President Muhamadu Buhari.

He said that Tinubu was the most acceptable among the Presidential candidates for 2023 because he has built bridges across the country’s geo-political zones as well as buiding people.

“Tinubu has built an empire out of many Nigerians who crossed paths with him ever since his foray into public office.

“These Nigerians and many others who believe in his vision for a better Nigeria, are today mostly his foot soldiers, campaigning for him across the federation,” Omole said.

He said while other presidential candidates were literarily asleep, Tinubu, a former two-term Lagos State governor was on the top of his game and his foot soldiers not relenting.

He added that while one of the presidential candidates was abroad, others have gone silent as their social media supporters were beginning to lose their voices.

Omole said that Tinubu would address the challenges currently facing the country.

He said that Tinubu has the capacity to make Nigeria the envy of other nations by virtue of the party’s manifesto and his Action Plan.

“The manifesto is very rich, especially on national security, economy, power, oil and gas, foreign policy, health care and education showed someone who is prepared, compared to another candidates who said they do not need manifestos.

“Tinubu as a wealth creator will encourage more investments from Nigerians in Diaspora as well as other foreign investments and provide viable business opportunities in the country.

“The APC Presidential candidate will ensure continued improvement in businesses, the environment, governance and the quality of service from institutions,” he said.

He said while Tinubu and the APC PCC continued to take the lead in the campaigns by focusing on issues, the opposition candidates and their parties were still finding it difficult to get their houses in order to speak with one voice.

“We remain focused, united and with our eyes on the ball, not considering any distraction from the opposition.

“Our goal is to ensure a Tinubu presidency come 2023, so we can, through the instrumentality of government, turn the current challenges in the country into opportunities.

“We desire to positively impact the lives of Nigerians while making the country the envy of other nations,” Omole said.

The United Kingdom-based Fitch Solutions Group has said that Tinubu was the most likely presidential candidate to win the 2023 presidential election.

The group, in its report obtained from an online poll ahead of the February poll, said many factors pointed toward a Tinubu victory at the poll.

“Indeed, we maintain our view that the ruling party’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the candidate most likely to win the presidential election as a split opposition vote will favour the APC,” the FSG said.

The group said Tinubu’s performance as governor of Lagos State, the choice of his running mate and the party, APC, would grant him electoral victory at the poll.
