The Cooperative Financing Agency of Nigeria (CFAN) has appealed to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to include housing as part of its financial inclusion strategy. The Police Command in Lagos State has arrested six Bureau de Change operators for allegedly kidnapping an eight-year-old child. The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest in his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday. Hundeyin said that the suspects conspired and kidnapped the child of their colleague. “The child, whose hands and feet were bound in a sack was released three days later. “Preliminary investigation reveals that all the suspects are fellow BDC operators in the same business district of Lagos.” he said. The police in Imo have called for calm over reported killing of the traditional ruler of Ubudi Agwa community, Oguta local government, Dr Ignatius Asor and three others by bandits.
