A Medicine and Surgery final year student of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS), Mr Usman Abubakar-Rimi, who ventured into food selling business due to prolonged ASUU strike, has died. Abubakar-Rimi opened a food outlet and Indomie joint in the Diplomat area in Sokoto. The medical student died on Wednesday after a brief illness. The death was confirmed on Saturday by the Chairman of 21st Century Enterprenuer Hub, Umar Idris, a close associate of the deceased. Kebbi High Court has set up an administrative panel to investigate allegations of alleged misconduct against two Chief Magistrates. The European Union on Friday signed a 100 million Euros grant agreement (about $97.2 million) for the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Poverty Reduction and Growth Trust (PRGT).
