UNICEF on Friday, said that more than 2.5 million people in Nigeria are in need of humanitarian assistance. It also said 60 per cent of the people (1.5 million), who are children are at increased risk of waterborne diseases, drowning and malnutrition as a result of the most severe flooding in the past decade.
