The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has supported the Federal Government’s decision to create a committee to handle collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) for health sector unions. Data from the 2018 National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) indicate that Nigerian women have an average fertility rate of 5.3. This rate is more than double the global replacement level of 2.1 births per woman needed to sustain a stable population.
