The Special Military Task Force, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), in Plateau has arrested 27 suspected cult members operating in various communities in Jos North local government area of the state. The Lagos State House of Assembly has promised to include compensations to EndSARS victims in the state’s 202 Budget currently before the House. The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the African continent has reached 2,026,841, the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) said on Friday. The death toll related to the pandemic stood at 48,681, the continental disease control and prevention agency said in a statement. A total of 1,714,395 people infected with COVID-19 have recovered across the continent.
