The Minister tweeted on his Twitter handle, @DrIsaPantami Monday evening that Aisha died at the age of 13. “Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Rajiun! Football’s governing body, FIFA, has banned Ahmad Ahmad, the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and a FIFA Vice-President, for five years for breaching some of its codes. He has been sanctioned with a ban from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) at both national and international levels for five years, a statement on the FIFA website said on Monday. Justice Sanusi Ado Maaji of the Kano State High Court on Monday, sentenced one Muhammad Suleiman to two years in imprisonment for fraud. The convict was arraigned today in court by the Kano Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on one-count charge of criminal breach of trust, to which he pleaded guilty. The Kano Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday secured the conviction of one Rabiu Alhasan Dawaki before Justice Dije Abdu Aboki of the Kano State High Court on charges of conspiracy and criminal breach of trust. Dawaki was arraigned alongside two others Abdullahi Umar Rano and Samuel Obende who are now deceased on a 28 count charge bordering on Conspiracy and Criminal Breach of Trust. Justice J.K Omotosho of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has convicted and sentenced six foreigners and a Nigerian to seven years imprisonment for oil theft. They were jailed on Monday, after three years of diligent prosecution by the Port Harcourt Zonal Office of the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
