India on Wednesday approved the opening of three diplomatic missions in three different countries including Estonia, Paraguay and the Dominican Republic in 2021, according to an official statement. Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State on Wednesday signed the state’s 2021 appropriation bill of N169.8 billion into law. The state House of Assembly had on December 29, passed the 2021 appropriation bill following the presentation to the Assembly for consideration on Dec. 9, by the governor. The sum of N101.1 billion representing 60 per cent of the budget was earmarked for capital expenditure, while N68.7 billion representing 40 per cent was for recurrent spending. An ICU nurse in San Diego, who had received Pfizer Inc. vaccine’s shot against COVID-19 on December 18, has tested positive for the virus.
