The Nigerian government says the country’s deaths from COVID-19 now stands at 1,304, even as the Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) reported 576 new infections on Saturday. Nigerian government has placed travel restrictions on 100 passengers, for non-compliance with mandatory protocol on tests upon arrival as outlined by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19. The Chairman of the PTF on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, disclosed this in a notice to the affected passengers on Saturday. The Finnish Medicines Agency says it has received the first report of an adverse reaction to the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine against coronavirus. Two Nigerian scientists have cautioned the Federal government against mass COVID-19 vaccination plan; this is as the country prepares to receive its first consignment of COVID-19 vaccines. The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Saturday conducted a special search and rescue training for some of its personnel, to deepen their competence during combat operations.
