The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved an increase in the retirement age of teachers across the country from 60 to 65 years or 40 years in service as against 35. Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers on Wednesday visited his Sokoto State counterpart, Aminu Tambuwal and donated N500 million to support the Sokoto state government to rebuild the central market that was ravaged by fire Tuesday morning. Outgoing US President Donald Trump left the White House for his final time on Wednesday, taking the Marine One helicopter from the lawn outside the building heading towards Joint Base Andrews.
