Nigerian Army says its troops killed 31 Boko Haram fighters after they foiled a terrorists’ attack in Askira Uba town in Borno state on Wednesday. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded eight new deaths and 938 new cases of COVID-19. The total number of infections in the country and 143,516 with death toll rising to 1,710, according to the Centre on its official Twitter handle on Thursday.
