The United States of America’s Federal Bureau of Investigations, FBI, has declared six Nigerians most wanted. They were declared wanted for a cyber crime that swindled 70 U.S. businesses to the tune of $6 million. Those declared by the FBI are Michael Olorunyomi, Richard Izuchukwu Uzuh, Alex Afolabi Ogunsakin, Felix Osilama Okpoh, Abiola Ayorinde Kayode and Nnamdi Orson Benson. The Bureau accused them of executing a business email compromise scheme that defrauded over 70 different businesses in the U.S., resulting in combined losses of over $6 million. Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal has advised the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, to deploy better ways of engaging governments to press home its demands because strikes were out-fashioned. He handed the advise when he received the newly elected officials of the Sokoto State University chapter of the union on Thursday. Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal has reiterated call on Nigerian citizens to avoid playing politics with the security situation in the country in general. Sweden is gradually phasing out the use of the COVID-19 vaccine produced by the British-Swedish pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca. As the health authority announced on Friday, 89 per cent of people over 65 the population group that has mainly received AstraZeneca in Sweden were now fully vaccinated. For this reason, the authority has decided to stop distributing the drug to the individual regions of the Scandinavian EU country, thus gradually phasing out its use. Cross River Commissioner for Health, Dr Betta Edu, on Friday said that about 40,000 people had received the second jab of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine in the state before it was exhausted. Edu said this in an interview in Calabar. The commissioner noted that about 50,000 people only in the state had received the first jab of the vaccine. The state on March 10, 2021 received 53,840 doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines from the federal government. The UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), has called on the world’s richest countries to invest more on sustainable living, to ensure food security for the world’s growing population.
