The NiDCOM chief urged parents to always question the whereabouts of their children when taken away by relatives or friends and encouraged collective efforts to ensure traffickers are named and arrested.

“We are in receipt of a petition from an NGO. So, we have started investigation in the matters raised in the petition.

“We call on the National Judicial Commission (NJC) to immediately wade into this issue at the Rivers State High Court, Degema, because the judgment will cause further damage to the already battered image of the judiciary”, the coalition said.

This figure is about 297 percent higher than it spent on debt servicing in April and 286.49 percent higher than the $221.05 million the country spent in May 2023.
