The Federal Government of Nigeria has formally requested the World Bank to cancel the non-disbursed balance of $41.62 million from a COVID-19 loan approved in 2020.  This move comes as the Nigeria COVID-19 Prevention and Response Project (COPREP) reached its closing date on June 30, 2024.
