Nigeria’s tally of people infected with the COVID-19 COVID-19 pandemic has hit 61,558, with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), confirming 118 new cases on Monday. Thec infections were recorded in nine states and the Federal Capital Territory. Vehicular and human movements were at standstill on Monday at Ijanikin, Iyana Isashi and Agbara axis on Lagos – Badagry expressway as angry youths protested against police brutality and the deplorable state of the road.
