The National Examinations Council, NECO, says it will not extend the registration period for the 2021 Senior School Certificate Examination, SSCE, for school based candidates. Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), University of Jos chapter, says that its members will henceforth boycott all postgraduate (PG) activities in the institution. Chairman of ASUU in the university, Prof. Lazarus Maigoro, stated this in a notice of withdrawal issued on Wednesday in Jos. Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello of Niger announced this while addressing newsmen in Minna on Wednesday.
