The police in Imo have arrested a 40-year-old man, Uzoamaka Ugoanyanwu, said to be a notorious native doctor who allegedly prepares charms for members of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB and members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN). The Debt Management Office (DMO) says Nigeria’s Public Debt Stock is N33.107 trillion (about $87.239 billion), as at March 31, 2021. A statement obtained from DMO’s website says that the total public Debt Stock comprised of the debt stock of the federal government of Nigeria, 36 state governments and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), respectively. The debt stock also includes Promissory Notes in the sum of N940.220 billion issued to settle the inherited arrears of the FGN to state governments, oil marketing companies, exporters and local contractors. The Dangote Group says its 650,000BPD refinery project under construction in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos will be completed by end of December. The Police Command in Osun says it has arrested five suspects with human parts in Osogbo, the state capital.
