The Director-General, Media and Publicity to Katsina state governor, Mr Abdu Labaran says all commercial vehicles in the state will henceforth bear the same colour. Labaran disclosed this while addressing newsmen in Katsina on Friday. He stated that the decision came to being in a Security Order No.2 signed into law by the governor. The Management of Kogi State University (KSU), Anyigba, on Friday said the institution has attained 100 per cent accreditation of its programmes with 24 new ones by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Prof. Marietu Tenuche, Vice Chancellor of the University, disclosed this during her maiden press briefing at the university Senate Building on Friday in Anyigba. Tenuche said that the programmes were accredited barely one year after she assumed office as the fifth Vice Chancellor of the university, established in 1999. The federal government has raised alarm over the use of what is called “deep” fake news to attack it and its officials. The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, raised the alarm in an interview in Sal Island, Cape Verde on Saturday. The hunters, in a string-like operation, raided a ‘riverside’ community in Magami between Shiroro and Rafi local government areas of Niger state and killed the bandits on Wednesday. The community, which is closed to a river, has been used as hideouts by bandits, who also established their camps in the axis, a source told PRNigeria. The Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC, says it has set up a fintech division to understudy cryptocurrency investments and other digital products in order to establish regulations for the sector in Nigeria.
