Aimed at strengthening pre-service health system, the equipment was presented at the Aliko Dangote College of Nursing Sciences Bauchi on Wednesday. The benefiting institutions are Aliko Dangote College of Nursing Sciences Bauchi; Bill and Melinda Gates College of Health Technology Ningi and the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Bauchi. The University of Ilorin (Unilorin) N600 million integrated poultry farm at Amoyo in the Ifelodun local government area of Kwara would formally commence operations on July 21. Unilorin secured a facility from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to establish a commercial poultry farm to boost the production of eggs and chicken. Mr Tobias John, a public health expert, on Friday warned that malaria might lead to Common Mental Disorders (CMDs) if left untreated. The partnership between Oxford Biomedica and AstraZeneca to produce vaccines against COVID-19 will continue for another three years, according to a new deal between the two firms. The new agreement represented an expansion of the original agreement announced between the two companies in September 2020. As part of the original commitment, Oxford Biomedica expected to complete the manufacture of COVID-19 vaccines at its Oxbox facility in the last quarter of 2022. Terms of the original agreement was inclusive of revenues for batches already manufactured in the first half of 2022.
