Kaduna State COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus Programme (KD-CARES) has begun the distribution of agricultural inputs to 4,882 poor and vulnerable farmers across the state. Emergency responders have rescued three persons from a Lexus Jeep that was swept away by heavy flood around Oyatoki area of Agege, Lagos State. This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, the Zonal Coordinator, South-West, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), on Saturday in Lagos. The World Health Organisation (WHO) says preliminary findings of two Marburg virus cases have prompted Ghana to prepare for a potential outbreak of the disease and has mobilised health experts to support the authorities. Almost half of Australians are living with a chronic health condition, a report has said. The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) on Thursday published its latest two-yearly report on the nation’s health. It found that the life expectancy rate at birth increased to 83.0 years in 2020, or the sixth-highest rate among the 38 Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) member countries.
