A women’s Nations League will begin next year, European football governing body UEFA announced on Thursday. The competition, which will link into qualification for the European Championship and the World Cup, will start in autumn 2023, it said. The death toll from floods and landslides caused by a tropical storm in the Philippines has hit 150, with no fewer than 36 people still missing, the National Disaster Agency said Thursday. A total of 128 were injured, the agency said. Nearly four million people have been affected by the calamity which also left over 1.2 million displaced. The air pollution level in the Indian capital region Delhi on Thursday became severe, officials said. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the overall air quality index (AQI) remained in the severe category at 442. The air quality was severe and prominent pollutants were PM 2.5 and PM 10, said the CPCB. The information has been received from monitoring stations set up across Delhi.
